We got Lucky! And how lucky we were! Could not have wished for a more attentive and considerate person to show us around Negombo. Always punctual and thoughtful, he negotiated the crazy traffic expertly, putting us at ease and able to just enjoy the sights. I needed to do a bit of shopping and he was the ultimate patient gentleman as he took me from place to place to find what I wanted. I would choose Lucky next time and can confidently recommend him to other travelers.
Lucky is an outstanding driver and tour guide. We really enjoyed his company on his city tour and found him very knowledgeable about places like the fresh and dried fish markets that he took us too. At the end of our stay he took us to the airport, in rush hour 5pm traffic and just as we got there my wife realized she had left her cell phone back at the hotel! Lucky did not hesitate to drop us off and drive all the way back, a 1 hour round trip, to retrieve it well in time for our flight. I would definitely recommend looking him up if you’re planning a visit to Negombo.

“Lakmal, thank you for everything. The day started with a lagoon trip in Negombo. The trip was cosy and interesting. We saw monkeys and Lakmal brought us sweet fruit. After the boar trip, we stopped at the fish market. Lakmal showed us around and helped us buy tuna. We bought the tuna to a cozy restaurant (Seafood tour with Indian Ocean Fish Grill) on the beach. The dinner was delicious, maybe the best fish on our holiday. We will say thank you again for a amazing day. Hope we see you again. “Dear Lakmal, Das Ocean Glory Hotel hat fur uns seine schone fahrt zur Negombo Lagune organisiert. Es war wirklich toll. Wir haben viele verschieclone vogel gesehen und sind sogar an 2 stellen aus unsereom boot gestiegen um muscheln zu sammeln und affen zu futtern. Wir haben den affen konig und seine 12 frauen und haufen weise baby’s gesehen. Es war unbeschreiblich man hat sogar noch schiffswracks vom tsunami gesehen. sehr empfehlons wert.
